Today, we will be exploring God the Father. We’ll do this by reentering the epic stories of the Old and New Testaments. Many think of God the Father as the God of the Old Testament, while Jesus is the God of the New Testament. However, we have already seen that every Trinity member spans the entire Biblical narrative. It’s easy to look at the Old Testament and merely see God the Father as a judge or king. Of course, He is both of those things, but the Old Testament also has dozens of references to the fatherly qualities of God.
